September Hubb

This month we made some sweets.  We made chocolate and peppermint. 
Although we liked making them, we enjoyed eating them even more.

Film reviews for September

This month we thought we would look at a few adventure and action films.  So here are our thoughts on a selection of very exciting films we have seen over the last few weeks.

Firstly we all really loved Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

If you like loads of action, science fiction, and comedy, then we think you will like this film as much as we did.  It has all the elements above which make it on of the must see films of this year.

Although it is often the case that a second film in a series is not as good as the first one, here that is definitely not the case.  Vol 2 is at least as good as the original and possibly even better.

Baby Groot is a classic character and really should be a star in it's own film.  Hilarious.    

If you want something to see at the weekend, this is it.  We highly recommend this film as one of our favourites for a long time.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol2

Our next choice is The Hitman's Bodyguard.

This is another very fast paced action film that is also really funny.  Samuel L Jackson is at his best in this thrilling chase movie.  The action starts right from the first scene and hardly stops at ll throughout the whole movie.  The story is a bit weak but who cares when there is som much else going on.

There are all the usual ingredients for a great action film including car chases, motorbikes, lots of guns and explosions and plenty of laughs too.

Again this is a highly recommended film, just remember that it has quite a lot of swearing though.

The Hitman's Bodyguard

Here are a few to look out for in the next feww months.

Geostorm looks like it might be one to keep you on the edge of your seat.  I has action space travel, disaster and excitement by the bucket full.

Lastly we have to include what must be on of the most iconic Sci-Fi sequels ever.  BladeRunner 2049.  If you haven't seen the original then here is a link to the trailer.
